This is a lovely Art Nouveau lavalier pendant, marked for 9 carat karat yellow gold, set with 2 round faceted amethyst stones: the first is over 5mm in a bezel setting, the second is approximately 2.5 mm in a multi claw setting. The central stone is slightly lighter in purple than the drop stone, though both change their colour with the light and whatever tone they are set against. The pendant has the elegant lines and scrolls that one commonly associates with Art Nouveau style, and likely dates from the early 1900s, and was made in England. While these were commonly worn on a black cord, I am shipping the pendant with the chain that it came with from the estate sale. Please note, this chain is not marked, and as such, is either a gold fill or gold plate chain of unknown age or origin.
Size:
The pendant measures 46 mm at its tallest point, and 23 mm at its widest point. The chain is approximately 17.5 " total length.
Condition: This estate gold and amethyst lavalier pendant is in excellent vintage condition. The stones are clear and look unblemished to the eye, and the necklace just shows the regular one one expects with a previously loved piece of vintage jewelry. One of the ornament scrolls is slightly squared, but overall this estate 14k gold pendant is ready to wear!

**Shipping Information**
Shipping costs are the cost of mailing an item, along with any necessary packing/packaging materials. If shipping costs seem high, sometimes they are. When estimating for the purposes of listing an item on Etsy, I have to list the most expensive possible shipping destination in a given country. More expensive items are shipped with tracking and insurance, which adds to the cost. If the difference between my shipping estimate and actual costs are greater than $2, I will refund you the difference.
If you are thinking of purchasing an item, contact me with your postal or mailing code, and I will check the precise shipping costs. For less expensive items (under $50), I am willing to ship by cheaper options, but please be aware that this can extend shipping times by 4 to 8 weeks for international shipping to some destinations, and can eliminate the ability to track or insurance the package.
In short, not turning a profit on postage, but need to cover the costs getting lovely jewellery from me to you!
